Getting traffic to your site can be as easy as A,B,C or in can be so intricate that it causes you to pull your hair out attempting to get it. There are only two real solutions to solve the issue.
1. Pay For Traffic - There are a number of companies that anyone can pay to market their website. Advertising can range from banner ads, to search engine submission or even doing a pay per click campaigns. All of these avenues can be affective, however if your advertising budget is small, these strategies can by somewhat costly.
2. Generate Traffic - There a many different ways to generate traffic to your website. Accessing social networks/websites are by far the best way to get a jump start in introducing individuals to what you have to offer. Most social networks are completely free to join and it allows you to get your website in front of many people with just a few clicks of a button. Learning these techniques for yourself is one of the best investments that any person can make, as it will generate sales for your business.
Most social networks can get your website ranked in Google overnight. The more networks that you are associated with, the more traffic you receive. I suggest that if you are attempting to get masses of people in front of your business, that you join as many network sites as possible, set up a profile and provide valuable information about your product or service and how it can help others. No who is your target market so that you can cater your content for those who will be interested in what you have to offer.
Lastly, even though using social networks are free, it doesn't automatically mean you will generate sales. You must consistently provide information as well as always be adding to your network. Every week you should provide content, videos or articles about your website or service. Follow-up with those that are interested and watch the sales grow through the roof!
