Even the "Greatest" and most expensive websites don't convert website traffic into leads and sales.

Don't be surprised at the limited number of website visitors that turn into leads after spending hundreds, or even thousands, on a very stylized, multi-graphic animated website.

Traffic conversion and design are completely independent of each other. Proper design and layout can improve conversion, but focusing on a great-looking website will do nothing for your business (unless you're selling your web design abilities).
